Every detail has been thought of at McCarty Weight Loss Center. The tranquility of the waiting room adorned with chairs that are comfortable but don’t scream, “YOU’RE FAT,” to the sophisticated diagnostic equipment make the office one where you know the patients are his priority.

I had gastric bypass surgery by another doctor a few years ago. Complications occurred, I lost a lot of weight, I gained some back, and for many years have not felt quite right. I saw several doctors and even had 3 operations without success. I will always be thankful that my friend encouraged me to make an appointment with Dr. McCarty. Through my medical timeline along with the tools he has right there in his office, he suspected an autoimmune disease of my thyroid gland, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, which was confirmed through further testing. He arranged treatment and I feel much, much better.

I am impressed with how personable and brilliant Dr. McCarty is. In fact, I have never met a doctor quite like him. He listens, he cares, he communicates, he diagnoses accurately, and more importantly, he has continued to check on me.
