Dr. McCarty has to be one of the most approachable, professional, and caring physicians that I have had the pleasure of being cared by. It is not easy to have a BMI of 52, yet Dr. McCarty spent time with my husband and I the first day, explaining how surgery would help as a tool to reduce my BMI. He was never judgmental about my obesity, instead he focused on the positive outcome of losing weight. My mini sleeve was one week ago and I have been off my diabetic meds since then. He rocks!
